New Format and Clues for Nauset Light Letterbox

Letterbox Name: Nauset Light Letterbox

Location: Eastham, Cape Cod, Massachusetts

Difficulty: Easy, this is a drive by box.

Date Placed: 05 July 2001 by the Lonemasswolf and his companions You Inspire My Spirit, Jerry, Rae, Katy, Andrew and Conner.

Driving Directions: From Route 6 in Eastham turn right on Nauset Road (next to the National Seashore Visitor Center). Follow Nauset Road to the Coast Guard Station. Turn left on to Ocean View Drive. At the end of Ocean View, park your vehicle (car, bike, whatever) in the Nauset Beach parking lot on the right, and proceed on foot to the lighthouse.

BE OF GREAT CARE THIS IS A HEAVILY TOURISTED LOCATION YOUR BEST BET MAY BE AFTER HOURS OR OFF SEASON.

You will also save on paying a hefty parking fee, if you can enter in the first place (the lot fills fast).

CLUES TO THE LETTERBOX

Facing the entrance to the lighthouse, proceed along the asphalt path around the right side of the lighthouse. The letterbox will be found hidden in the roots of a downed pine at the end of this path.
